Susisiekimo ministerija pristatė renginį „Atviri duomenys – proveržis susisiekimo sektoriuje“, kuris skirtas visuomenei, verslui bei mokslui.

Renginys buvo skirtas aptarti susisiekimo sektoriaus viešo duomenų atvėrimo svarbą, kuriant inovatyvius ir kasdienį gyvenimą lengvinančius sprendimus. Atvirų duomenų portale yra užsiregistravusios ir duomenis pateikusios 150 skirtingų šalies organizacijų. Sistema suteikia technologines galimybes vartotojams ieškoti juos dominančios informacijos apie įstaigas bei organizacijas.

Sistemos pavyzdinis tikslas – atverti duomenis, kad jie galėtų būti panaudoti visuomenės poreikiams, būsimiems sprendimams priimti bei projektams įgyvendinti. Sistemoje galima rasti įvairią informaciją apie infrastruktūrą, įmonių darbuotojų darbo užmokestį, skundų ir/ar prašymų nagrinėjimą bei rengiamus projektus.
