On 25 April, Vilnius hosted the third Baltic Miltech Summit 2023, an international defence technology event. The President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, the Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas, the Minister of Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė and representatives of various companies shared their insights and emphasised the importance of the development of defence technologies. 

More than 600 representatives from Lithuanian and foreign defence companies, investment funds, research centres, technology start-ups and innovative companies attended the event. 

Discussions and debates took place on what technologies are currently being sought and how to enter the development and supply chain of new technologies. Representatives from AB Detonas attended the event and delved into the processes.
